I'll get downvoted for this, but alignment rods are fucking cancer. Not once have I ever used one, not once have I ever had a baffle strike. I could be wrong, but I don't even remember them being a "thing" 10 years ago. If you have a quality barrel, with quality threads, and properly mount your QD system, you're not going to have a baffle strike.
